The Quintessence of the Reasoned Response of the Left to Dobbs

The egregor of the Left is in full control of this gal. I tell you, she’ll go down in history. This photo could be right up there with the shot of the Marines raising the flag on Mount Suribachi. Look at it closely, blow it up if you dare. You will never be able to unsee it; the quivering glossy ululating uvula of existential protest!

Man, I tell you, this is who we are, as Americans. It is the core of our democratic society.

HT to our long time friend and respected adversary, a.morphous, who sent us a link to a Washington Post article where this iconic, thrilling and deeply moving photo appears. Oh, the humanity! So brave!

ROTFLOL! Tears rolling. It’s like a million right wing memes, realized in life to a degree of perfection that nobody who enjoys such memes could have imagined might be possible. She’s the apotheosis of the infantile Leftist rant against reality. I’ll be laughing at it for days. Oh, the delicious schadenfreude! Lord, forgive me. I can’t stop laughing.

Remember, boys, this is the stern stuff of which our adversaries are made. Fell, dour, lethal stuff. Gird your loins for a stiff contest. Or maybe not so stiff, or hard, come to think of it, but rather just boring, and yet laborious, difficult; like a supernaturally bad blind date, or a bitter divorce from a newly lesbian wife: endless, massively tiresome and acutely irritating.

And pass me a hanky for these tears, which will not stop. And the snot, which is getting pretty bad too by now.

Seriously, though: one of the sad adverse consequences of Dobbs is that this … woman (sic! as if anyone knew what they are!), and all her (his? their? its?) ilk, will be forced – forced I say! – to have lots and lots of kids, thus greatly increasing the future ranks of the Enemy.

Not! The Force is horribly corrupt and so therefore weak in this one. Life will find a way. But not, likely, through her. Good teeth, though. Too bad.

++++++

PS: This photo is of a maenad. Take heed. When I said, ‘gird your loins,’ I meant it. Good teeth, indeed. Ware your nads.

PPS: What’s weird is that the editors of the Washington Post must have thought, hard, and carefully – there were probably several meetings on the topic – that this photograph of an insane nut going crazy *very strongly argued their case in favor of killing babies.* That in itself is deeply odd, no? Since when is insanity an argument in favor? Weird.

  1. “Here shouts Ozymandias, King of Kings! Listen to his shrieks, ye mighty, and despair.”

No pedestrians beside remain. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level headed souls walk far, far away.

    • Revelation 20:

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

      • Listen, pal, I just was writing a little satire, why do you have to lay down Revelation on me like that (lol—kind of). If that scripture doesn’t send a chill down your spine, I don’t know what will.

This is the great consolation for those of us who wish to see the end of Abortion, and the great surprise waiting for those souls who choose the cult of death: At the end of all things, all of our deeds will be weighed with perfect justice. We may never win the fight to abolish abortion forever, but we know God will have the last word.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

  2. But now, what will be the character of the children reared under such a domestic organization as this? If human experience has established anything at all, it is the truth of that principle announced by the Hebrew prophet when he declared that the great aim of God in ordaining a permanent marriage tie between one man and one woman was “that He might seek a godly seed.” God’s ordinance, the only effective human ordinance for checking and curbing the first tendencies to evil, is domestic, parental government. When the family shall no longer have a head, and the great foundation for the subordination of children in the mother’s example is gone; when the mother shall have found another sphere than her home for her energies; when she shall have exchanged the sweet charities of domestic love and sympathy for the fierce passions of the hustings; when families shall be disrupted at the caprice of either party, and the children scattered as foundlings from their hearthstone.—it requires no wisdom to see that a race of sons will be reared nearer akin to devils than to men. In the hands of such a bastard progeny, without discipline, without homes, without a God, the last remains of social order will speedily perish, and society will be overwhelmed in savage anarchy. -R.L. Dabney, Women’s Rights Women, 1872

    • The fault does not ultimately terminate upon the women, but upon their men, who let it all happen. And I, among them, albeit witless and with the best of charitable intent; may God have mercy upon me.

      Dabney was a genius.

      • “What then, in the next place, will be the effect of this fundamental change when it shall be established? The obvious answer is that it will destroy Christianity and civilization in America.

Some who see the mischievousness of the movement express the hope that it will, even if nominally successful, be kept within narrow limits by the very force of its own absurdity. They “reckon without their host.” There is a Satanic ingenuity in these Radical measures which secures the infection of the reluctant dissentients as surely as of the hot advocates. The women now sensible and modest who heartily deprecate the whole folly, will be dragged into the vortex, with the assent of their now indignant husbands. The instruments of this deplorable result will be the (so-called) conservative candidates for office. They will effect it by this plea, that ignorant, impudent. Radical women will vote, and vote wrong; whence it becomes a necessity for the modest and virtuous women, for their country’s sake, to sacrifice their repugnance and counterpoise these mischievous votes in the spirit of disinterested self-sacrifice.

Now a woman can never resist an appeal to the principle of generous devotion; her glory is to crucify herself in the cause of duty and of zeal. This plea will be successful. But when the virtuous have once tasted the dangerous intoxication of political excitement and of power, even they will be absorbed; they will learn to do con amore what was first done as a painful duty, and all the baleful influences of political life will be diffused throughout the sex.” -Same

  3. I cringe a little when people say, “look at our pitiful adversaries”, as so many have. That must be why we’ve been kicking their butts so easily, right? These expendables have men of serious purpose behind them, funded by Big Money.

Behind that, the Egregor, as you call him. Please do not think of him & his angels as a metaphor or something (readers too). The Prince of This World is alive & well, I’m afraid, We in the Western Church are finding out that we have gravely underestimated him.

    • We should not, indeed, underestimate the Enemy. After all, he’s been winning methodically since 1789. But most of his human minions really are in fact pathetic – deeply defective as actors, confused, depressed, unhealthy, and so forth – on account of the profound contradictions and counterfactuals their creed obliges them to credit. So great and so deep are the contradictions of their principles with reality and with each other that they cannot think properly, so avoid thought, and instead rely on emotion and instinct they cannot think properly, so avoid thought, and instead rely on emotion and instinct; both of which have been perverted by their lust unbridled (and, so, unsated, and insatiable). So are they absurd, and risible. And that is heartening, because in outward life, they are the ones we need to contend with most from one day to the next. It behooves us then to take them unseriously, and to be careless of their stupid attacks; for, they are in fact unserious, so that whenever we stand up to them, they tend to collapse like a house of cards.

Our battle with the Enemy himself, and with his demonic host of prowlers, is on the other hand inward. There is in their case no profit in derogating their fell evil power.

But, however, there is great profit indeed in mocking him. Like his human slaves, the Devil hates laughter, especially at his own expense.

      • Well said, sir. I made a “before & after” meme mocking them, using two relevant pics – the one that heads this article, and an earlier one of two giddy worshippers of Molock holding a handmade sign stating that “If I want the government in my womb, I’d go f*** a Senator. Sent it out to several people on our side of the issue this morning, and they all wrote me back saying “I’m not sure I get it.” LOL. I must come to terms with the fact that I’m just not a very good meme maker.

      • I am reminded that St. John Vianney would often mock the Devil.

Once, upon having his bed set ablaze by the Evil One shortly after leaving the rectory, he joked, “unable to catch the bird, he sets fire to the cage!”

We have authority over own own bodies, our spouse, and our children, which means we can and should exorcise them. A prayer I’ve been frequenting lately is, “Begone Satan. You have no authority over me. Drink the poison yourself.”

      • My spiritual director two weeks ago recommended the Deliverance Prayer to me, as a way of driving out all sorts of evil egregores:

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I renounce the spirit of [acedia, anger, anxiety, blame, boredom, cowardice, demoralization, depression, doubt, fear, frustration, guilt, hatred, illness, loathing, loneliness, lust, oppression, porneia, resentment, sensuality, timidity, weariness, etc.], and the hold it has over me; and I ask our Lord Jesus to send that spirit to the foot of the Cross.

It is pertinent whenever we start to feel bad, in almost any way. Or even whenever any feeling that is not inherently problematic, but that is not holy, begins to make itself felt inordinately. Appetite, e.g.

      • Kristor, thank you for sharing. I shall refer to this prayer, and before too long, I hope to have it memorized. In Christ – Jack.
